10mm polymer composite diaphragm
To be the benchmark for entry-level sound quality, the JD10 features a carefully selected 10mm polymer composite diaphragm. This diaphragm is high in rigidity, low in distortion and is optimally damped. It delivers rich and full bass, which perfectly blends with the midrange and treble for a truly enjoyable sound. Additionally, thanks to meticulous acoustic tuning that leverages the diaphragm’s rigidity, the JD10 is highly resolving in a manner rarely seen amongst its peers, capable of reproducing even subtle audio details.
 
Dual cavity design
The JD10 employs a dual-cavity acoustic design, with separate damping control systems in each cavity. This precise control of air flow damping helps reduce distortion, which effectively enhances driver diaphragm movement and bass extension.
When listening to complex music, this design allows the JD10 to capture more nuances in bass notes – resulting in a refreshingly speedy and detailed bass.
 
0.033mm Japanese CCAW voice coil
To deliver higher quality sound from the driver, the JD10 utilizes a special ultra-fine Japanese CCAW voice coil, with a wire diameter of only about 0.033mm.

This voice coil, thanks to the wires’ thinness and properties of CCAW, significantly reduces the overall driver mass. As a result, it is easier to get the driver to produce higher volumes and also leads to improved transient response. The result is cleaner and more enjoyable sound.
 
External N52 high performance magnet
The JD10 employs an external magnet design. This allows for a larger magnet, which more effectively envelops the voice coil and results in more powerful sound. N52 high-performance neodymium iron boron magnets were chosen due to their abundance of energy and the ability to be made to apply their force over a uniformly broad area - ensuring the driver performs at its best.
 
3.7g light weight
The JD10 was designed from the very beginning to be a comfortable and light versatile pair of IEMs. Each JD10 ear piece weighs only 3.7g, among the lightest in its class and making it easy to go for long fatigue-free listening sessions.
