BARUCH SPINOZA was born in Amsterdam on November 24 1632. He comes from the Jewish Portuguese family who migrated to the Netherlands before the end of the sixteenth century. The most striking idea of Spinoza philosophy is that there is only one substance, unlimited divinity substance identified with Nature; Deus sive Natura.

The main work entitled Ethics is not without any intention: he is interested in achieving true peace of mind and freedom of humans from slavery of lust. In a famous statement on the opening of the Tractat on Repair and Understanding he talks about his experiences about the arrogance and perience of wealth, fameness and enjoyment, about the search for the highest happiness and the greatest goodness, because of "love for something eternal And unlimited it itself provides peace to the mind, and frees from all pain; therefore it is very dreamed and sought after through all our strengths."

Of course, interpreting Spinoza is important and various terms and phrases must be understood in the meaning of their definition and not in the sense of 'ordinary language'. This book presents this interpretation so that it will be easier for readers to approach Spinoza's intentions.
