CL – FLOOR 55 is a two part acrylic polymer modified cement based coating for repairing, resurfacing and patching of concrete surface. It is suitable for interior and exterior application, e.g. warehouses, car parks and driveways, bus bays, walkways, building aprons, staircases, corridors etc., but not for structural purpose.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Substrate’s surface must be sound and free from any laitance, oil, grease, dust and other contaminants. Smooth and compact surfaces must be roughened by mechanical means. Defective and unsound substrates has to be removed and repaired prior application of CL-Floor 55. Existing substrate expansion joint is to be continued through the new topping and any moving crack should be isolated with a movement joint.

PRIMING
Use CL-Primer P1 without dilution. Apply by roller at the rate of 5 – 8 m2 per kg and allow it to dry prior to CL-Floor 55
application, approximately 2 hours depending on climatic condition. Highly absorbent surface may require two coats of CL-Primer P1 to seal the surface. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying CL-Floor 55.

MIXING
Pour Part A liquid into a clean suitable size bucket and then slowly add in Part B powder while stirring with a slow speed mechanical stirrer. Mix thoroughly for about 2 minutes until a homogeneous lump free slurry is obtained. Avoid entrapping air during mixing.

APPLICATION
Immediately after mixing, apply the mix onto the primed surface with trowel or rubber tool up to a thickness of 3mm to 6mm in one layer.

For placement of more than one layer, each subsequent layer should only be placed after the previous layer completely cures and hardens (minimum 24 hrs). For anti-skid surface, broom swept to a desired texture may be done shortly after initial set.
