Pay attention to the Indicator Light. If the indicator light is on, the electrical cable or electrical conductor is being powered by an electric current (there is voltage). If the indicator light is not on (OFF) then the electrical cable or electrical conductor is not powered by an electric current (there is no voltage in the conductor).
